I have released 4 more maps for C&C Remastered.
These 4 maps are for Tiberian Dawn, these maps are subject to change/update.
I did try to "Publish" all my maps to steam... However I have not seen them yet... It may just take time...
If you download any of the maps off this site for this game, unzip file into this path:
C:/Users/(username)/Documents/CnCRemastered/Local_Custom_Maps/Tiberian_Dawn

Ouch that hurts... Whats wrong with me having fun with C&C-R?
TBH... I am not done with C&C-R... This was one of my backup releases... I was laid off from my job due to this COVID-19 mess, and I was really lucky to be re-employed by my previous employer. So I have been busy to with IRL things to mess with anything else. I have had to start/learn a new job, plus move 1/4 across the USA to my new employment to mess with this stuff...
Also TBH, I am pretty happy and looking forward to get more involved with C&C-R... I am just haven't really had a chance... _________________ MadHQ's Graveyard - Click here!

Glad you've landed on your feet Mad. I do enjoy your YR maps, but I won't begrudge you making CnCR maps too. _________________ MIdAS - Turning wages into beer since 2002 QUICK_EDIT
I just want to comment, these C&CR maps look great compared to the garbage I see being posted by the news bot. I am disappointed by a community that had 2 decades to practice map making...
I have also released 35 voxels from my old mod Internal Destruction (2005).
I am just showing a small selection, as most are not that great. These are some of the first 3d to voxels I did.
Oh man that is good! You and me are biggest fanatics for Halloween in PPM, and we provide tons of resources for that purpose. I am busy lately, I do not know if I will find time to make something this time around. _________________

I have also released 22 of the first voxels I made, precursor to Internal Destruction (2005).

I have released 8 of the most adorable YR maps you have ever seen.
Sadly, this is what I did over my 4 day thanksgiving weekend...
They are not great with mods or vs the AI, best human vs human, but I still had fun with them.
I did have fun with these, so I may do more like this at some point.
The scaled images are so small I decided to just post them instead of the mini maps.

I have remastered and released the entire Red Alert 2 Allied campaign. Not recommended for use with mods, Out-of-Box fully patched Ra2 recommended.
All missions were created with the aid of Westwood assets, Fa2, Google maps, and GE's map verification/check tool.
Just finished playing thought though the missions & I loved it The larger & more detailed maps is a really big improvement over the original missions, I dont think I could go back to the originals after playing them.
Having an RA3 style AI partner on most maps was a great addition too, It made the missions feel alive as there was always something going on in the background.
I do hope you are going to remake the soviet missions too? _________________

Oh wow! you already played and finished them. I am not surprised, its not a long campaign, but I do think I made some of them last a little longer, due to the size. Its just kind of funny, I have been working on those off and on for over a year... And it sounds like you finished them in 1 setting...
Just out of curiosity, was my Par time adjustments correct? I had to increase most of them.
Also, did you notice anything odd or problematic with them, for the most part they are the original missions triggers, I did have to make quite a few changes to fix things. There are a few things that I could make better, and I still can... But I was happy with how they played, so I was ready to be done with them for the time being.
Ya, I felt like adding the Allied AI for fodder would be a little more "fun". The Allied AI doesn't really do much, it adds some extra flavor. Through-out the development I had added the multiplayer taunts into the missions, an example: in the 6th mission I had Carvilles taunts, and thought it sounded great, when the AI enters I use Carvilles "Yippee ki-a I am going in!", but I cut all of them a few weeks ago, as I only wanted to distribute the maps... Maybe some day I will add them back in.
Probably my favorite has to the be the 12th mission, I feel like that is the most pain to play on... The AI comes at the player hard.
And yes, I am planning on doing the Soviet campaign, I have just started started working on the 1st mission, it will be a while tell I have all them completed... Its surprisingly difficult and time consuming to do what I am doing...

Yes, but I am not sure yet if I am done with them... I was just ready to move on.

Ah frig, looks like I was too late...
Then again, a few changes to make them work with YR are still needed
To late for what? And ya I think its possible to move them into YR, I just didn't see a need for that. As I am kind of thinking of remastering the YR missions as well... _________________ MadHQ's Graveyard - Click here!

Yea, I know the feeling. I know I spent at least 3 weeks on some of my missions, testing and tweaking over and over, trying to find that right balance. I know a few took even longer because of the impossible to diagnose (with FA2) conditions.
Who knew our conversation would lead to another full featured script project?
I've taken time away to play other games and find inspiration, or interesting tactics I could apply, but a large part is also because I have to make a shitload more assets to accomplish something that feels unique to SE. Still, I appreciate the challenge of using vanilla assets too. _________________ http://www.moddb.com/mods/scorched-earth-ra2-mod-with-smart-ai QUICK_EDIT
Respect Mad a lot of work goes into map development.
I download these later on today and take a look! Luckily my version is still a few civilian units off vanilla so my mods won’t conflict.
I really enjoyed converting of mission maps into skirmish mode, and yeah it was tedious replacing a lot of the official assets in the official locations but it really gets you into the mind of the Westwood developers.
Just out of curiosity, was my Par time adjustments correct? I had to increase most of them.
Yeah I played through them all in a single 8 hours sitting. The par time was an hour on most of the missions & I finished each of them in around 30-40min.
MadHQ wrote:

I didn't have any problems, it seemed to all work perfectly. The only thing that comes to mind is that on "Deep Sea" the main enemy base had quite a few engineers in it. Maybe the script for them was getting stuck somewhere, or it could just be because I was destroying all their transports so they couldn't move anywhere

Yeah that was my favorite mission too. The time between enemy attacks felt shorter then normal & having the bunkers in different locations meant that more of their attacks could sneak in. Normally I'd fight my way down that map & kill everything, but this time I teleported a bunch of prism tanks to the bottom of the map & went for the killing blow skipping about 90% of the enemies on the map.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the first Soviet mission & how its geographically aligns with the Allied DC missions. Maybe once you have finished the Soviet campaign you could packages it together along with the Allied missions & some extra stuff like the multiplayer taunts as a mod. _________________
Oh wow! Having remastered the RA2 campaign for RotE, I'd very much like to get this implemented too. Will be interesting to see how much of a challenge it will be but I'll try _________________

Well I'm mid-way through making these work in YR so I'll probably chuck a download up for them in a few days once they're done. _________________ MIdAS - Turning wages into beer since 2002 QUICK_EDIT
Hope its not a stupid question but how do i add them and where do i go to choose the missions? Also does red alert 2 tfd works with these maps? QUICK_EDIT

Just drop them in your RA2 directory, where the game exe is. no TFD doesn't matter _________________ MIdAS - Turning wages into beer since 2002 QUICK_EDIT
MRMIdAS is correct, all you need is a factory/modern copy of RA2 that is fully patched and able to play the campaign missions.
That was my over all plan, not to complicate it, just to keep it simple, and enjoyable. _________________ MadHQ's Graveyard - Click here!

I did but nothing appears. Also when i search the internet some said to change the map extension to mpr which i did and i get nonames in the skirmish that freezes the game when selected QUICK_EDIT
I think I said it a while ago, the soviet campaign will take time... Missions 1&2 are 80-95% complete, mission 3 is maybe 25% complete... And that is all I have done so far...
It will take time... The allied campaign took me about 1 year off and on... _________________ MadHQ's Graveyard - Click here!

Are you trying to use 3rd party launcher?
Are you using illegal downloaded game?
You should not have to rename the maps. Unzip maps into RA2 folder then start new allied campaign. _________________ MadHQ's Graveyard - Click here!

Nothing illegal or 3rd party launcher. The game is TFD RA2 genuine. The problem must be that i thought you go to skirmish instead from campaign. I'll try again when i can and inform you QUICK_EDIT
LOL, yes some of those allied campaign maps are going to be turned into skirmish maps for YR... The snow map I release was the mission Dark Night.
I think some of them will make decent skirmish maps, seeing as how big they are, I do just have to make some tweaks. I do not plan on adding any triggers to the skirmish maps, just basic skirmish map.
I think 7 of the other mission maps will be turned into skirmish maps. _________________ MadHQ's Graveyard - Click here!
