Does anyone have the cameo font for RA2?
Subject description: It's for a system I'm trying to develop
Does anyone have the cameo font for RA2? I'm creating something that's part of a bigger app, which is the PCX Cameo Generator, and I need the font for the cameo.
There is one here, but the font doesn't have the shine to it like the gray bottom part and also the text is a bit off center.
Even in the textbox, the font is already seen more towards the left and the cursor is far away from the last letter.
If someone has the font, please provide it to me so I can properly develop the PCX Generator, and if you can also, provide me you're own font to test out on my system.
The PCX Generator isn't just for RA2 but for any other type of style wanted for a mod. So if for example, the Final War mod has it's own style of cameo, it can also be done here.
P.S. The apply is not necessary, it's just for me to check at the small picture at the bottom of what it would look like.
Saving the PCX will have the opacity and text already applied without clicking apply. The apply is only for changing the internal name.
Also, the system will have more to it. It's currently just barebones. Just adding the necessary features. So it's a bit clunky and most definitely not up for release yet.
I remembered downloading something that was a .psd file here in PPM. It was to be used to create PCX cameos.
I remembered that there was an image of a Battle Fortress as an example image but I couldn't find where is it.
I've used that .psd file before to create a .pcx file for the Patriot Missile but I also can find that .psd file I used as well.
I don't have photoshop so I used Photopea to create the .pcx cameo using the .psd file.
That was what I was basing the app for. It also had the text shadow separate so you can position it around.
That will also be part of the app. QUICK_EDIT
I've updated it as well. Based on your recommendation, the shading is done in post. And it isn't part of the font, you were right.
The font I found in here, then tracked it down to here.
I was searching on google "RA2 Cameo Font". I should've search "Cameo Template".
And it was the template I used with the Battle Fortress and it was in 2014.
