I can't get past the splash screen. fresh install 13.0 not in download folder. separate drive and folder.

Open the "Client" folder inside DTA's directory. There's a file named "client.log". Could you post its contents here?

Clientdx.exe is stuck open as well in softlock and I have to restart to try again.

Strange. It seems to get stuck on initializing ExtrasWindow, but there's nothing special about that specific window that would explain it getting stuck  Confused Do you have any third-party programs that could interfere with the client, overlays, FPS counters etc.?

You may have to disable Windows "real time protection".

It would sometimes cause the same issue for me.

Virus and Threat Protection -> Virus and Treat Protection Setting (Manage Settings) -> Real Time Protection

Turn it off, (it will turn on againe automatically after some time.
