I'm currently replacing Daggerfall sprites and flats with voxels, and in this process I've come across a tool called Vengi VoxEdit that interestingly seems to support Tiberian Sun voxels. I'm mostly only using it for palette swapping.

I haven't tested importing any or working with the tool in that capacity and I dont want to detract from VXLSE III but I suspect being able to edit voxels in a 3d vieport could be helpful. You can find it on GitHub.

Old news, although it's not the only one, and there are ways to export/import with Magica which people seem to prefer.

The main thing to note is that these non-C&C based voxel programs don't do anything with the normals, and it's the normals that can make or break a decent voxel.

A bad or missing .vxl will show blank in the game, a bad or missing .hva will cause instany crash.... so yea hva is important Smile
