Veins stop growing
Hello,
as stated in the Subject, at a certain stage of playing, the veins just stop growing, even if the veinhole monsters are still alive (see picture).
As far as I understand, the veinhole monsters are some kind of unit which stop working if there're too many units in the game -- sometimes, I even cannot select one. Is it possible that this circumstance leads to the stop of veins growth? Or is this a known problem?
Even with a Trigger (Type 2, Event 13 - Elapsed Time after 300 seconds, Trigger 85 - Vein Growth should be re-activated) it does not grow. It's odd to have a mass of veinhole monsters available for fast producing chemical rockets but cannot use it because it doesn't work any more. I've reproduced this several times now, and it seems to have something to do with unit count.
Veinhole monster is not a unit and number of units on the map won't affect its growth. Veins don't grow when obstructed by terrain/overlays etc. or has reached the number of cells to spread as given in MaxVeinholeGrowth in rules. QUICK_EDIT
