Does "RangeLimit" do anything noticeable, and how do I re-create it in OpenRA?
In TD, [Bomblet], the napalm projectile, has the tag "RangeLimit = 24".
In the TD quasi-"rules", this tag is listed as a UNIT tag (not a projectile tag), and described thusly:
Quote:
RangeLimit = does this unit only attack units at this range even if the weapon range is different (def=same as weapon range)?
The napalm bomblet is used on the A10, and attacking from a 24 cell distance is certainly not what the A10 does. It flies overhead and drops its bombs directly on target.
Does RangeLimit = 24 do anything in-game, and if so, what? And what would I need to do to re-create this in OpenRA faithfully? QUICK_EDIT

Belated response, but eh, whatever.
Aircraft behaviour was always hardcoded in WW C&C, I don't think this tag worked on them. For OpenRA, you can use AutoTarget->ScanRadius as a pseudo solution, but it won't apply to manual orders. _________________ "If you didn't get angry and mad and frustrated, that means you don't care about the end result, and are doing something wrong." - Greg Kroah-Hartman
