Unable to initiate map selection
Subject description: Need to get to next mission
I've searched on google and found an "answer". Unfortunately, I don't really get how they solved it.
Since it's been since 2011 that post was made and there are more campaigns made in other mods. Is there a simple explanation on how to go from mission 1 to mission 2?
I've already made the battlemd.ini, missionmd, mapselmd, etc. But it still says "Unable to initiate map selection".
Also, this is using Ares map selection and also tried it on CncClient, but I'm focusing more on Ares right now since it is the simplest to set up
I based it off of the guy that used Ares and Blades work(Sorry I'm basing this off of only the note on the zip file I downloaded, I couldn't remember the original creator's name) on the tutorial for making campaign maps and also Red Ressurection's client and changed the USA maps with mine with also a few tweaking to run the first mission.
When you say you've made the ini files, how do you mean? because it depends what you're trying to do. Adding a new sides campaign is different from, say, overwriting the Soviet campaign, for example.
You also need to specify if you want a clickable button like the Allied and Soviet campaign, or just pick the campaign from a list. _________________ MIdAS - Turning wages into beer since 2002 QUICK_EDIT
I just copied everything from the tutorial folder, then replaced the mission in them with mine. I've pretty much got everything from par time and string files, I just need to know how to go to the next mission.
