D-Day, the World War 2 total conversion mod for Yuri's Revenge, is having a mapping contest! This contest actually started just before the RA Unified Anniversary Event started, and I'm making this announcement right now because Banshee didn't announce the mapping contest even though I told him to.
Anyway, the deadline is November 23rd, which is where D-Day will have a game night in the anniversary event.
And here's the download link to D-Day: Multiplayer Mod, so you can get to mapping: https://ppmforums.com/topic-59390/d-day-multiplayer-mod-d-day-with-the-cncnet-client/

Here are the rules:
- 1 map per entrant.
- Desert, New Urban, and Snow theaters are allowed. The others aren't because they aren't supported.
- Don't copy maps. By this, I mean you can't copy map files and edit them. You may make maps inspired by other maps but they should be made from scratch.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q: Are the maps exclusive to D-Day?
A: No. The map authors may give you permission to edit their maps and add them to your mod.
Q: Whose judging?
A: Everyone, but I have the final say on which maps will be added.
Q: Where are you taking submissions?
A: You may submit your map to me (Preferably on Discord. My Discord username and ID is sayedmamdouh#9993), D-Day Discord server (https://discord.gg/7R4aCX8), and the Red Alert Anniversary Event Discord server (https://discord.gg/wf32SKuJzW).
Since I don't see people joining in the mapping contest, maybe you guys need to know the rewards to join in. Well, I'll tell you the rewards right now.
- The three best maps will be added in the D-Day Multiplayer Mod, along with special comments on them about their place in the mapping contest, and how good they are.
- Maps below the 3rd best map may or may not be added depending on how good they are, with only a comment about their place in the mapping contest.
