The model rocks... but the voxel needs work.
1) Make sure it isnt so big. 3ds2vxl has an option to set its size. You have to test it until you find a size where the unit definitelly leaves the war factory,
2) Add more remappables. I know there are some, but it's still hard to distinguish the owner of the unit.

what you believe in is irrelevant. It's a forum rule not to bump old let alone ancient topics.
It also has nothing to do with discrimination. It has something to do with
-the topic is finish. Nothing new will be added, changed or improved. Only if you contributed something new then a bump is acceptable.
-these resurrected topics make it harder to find the real new ones. If every one would bump old topics, you wouldn't find anything new anymore.

This actually looks really good in my mod it's the only good concept of an obelisk tank and it appears much smaller in Yuris revenge. makes a perfect Obelisk of ligt on wheels, downsides is i made it slow. alittle work needs done on the voxel but i like it still QUICK_EDIT

use similarly dark style.
If you look with only the terrain, it does not contrast that much.
The problem is the other NOD structures, but in mods like TI or Global Crisis, where everything is 3D converted and dark, it will look fine.
The problem was that this was *badly* 3D converted. Good model, bad conversion.
The remap was basically random bits.
It also had lots of color error and was assymetrical.
My version fixes color errors (no unlights, missing pixels, etc.), gives consistent remap including the top crystal (like Obelisk of Light), and fixes the symmetry of the base particularly.
Also, the re-normalization with modern settings makes it not as dark.
