has anyone considerd what tratos says when you select him?

"arrows from the sky"
"green becomes brown"
this makes me think that something that destroys tiberium exists in space possible a alien race with a weapon thet can make the earth normal again

the retrn of the scrin possibly. i think the two statements are related somehow perhaps something from the sky probably not natural because arrows=weapon this is true if you look at a sci-fi film with anchient mythology in it especialy hrieoglyphs.actual heiroglyphs that explain divine vengance or the Gods exerting wrath is useualy shown as arrows falling from the sky but saying that meteor stoms and volcanoe activity is often shown as flaming arrows falling from the sky well we will see....

I rather thought of it like this;

Arrows from the sky being missils & the likes from the sky, remember you get tratos from the hospital after being beaten around by nod so you can imagine he refers to all his persuers missiles as arrows from the sky. #Tongue

Also green becomes brown would probably have to do with vegetation (such as tree's) dieing out & becoming brown, like a dead leaf. (since tiberium soaks up all the grounds resources & thus normal plunts cant support themselves).

Green becomes brown could relate to the eventuallity of Tiberium taking all the minerals from the earth killing itself off.

GBB parts wrong, Green Becomes Brown refers to the mutation of trees into Tiberium Trees, and the arrows from the sky refers to ION Storms.

I’ve never forgotten these words, I remember I played a computer game my moms bf had hacked and I hand I had a small cluster of these monks who would state: arrows from the sky (which I thought of as nukes) and green becomes brown, implying the wilting of organic life in the face of nuclear fire and fallout.

Even though i played tiberian sun before and used to control tratos using finalsun map editor, but i never heard these words before in-game..
Then actual scrins come out to earth (i wish westwood's c&c 3 existed, as the game didn't make a release at all).

EDIT: Ackron's signature changed after i posted the reply, is he alive or something?

I always think the "Arrows from the Sky" is more of a 4th Wall breaking Joke. But it could be implied as either Ion Storms or the Nukes.

C&C3 wasn't around yet. Where did folks get the "he means Scrin" assumption? Were the Scrin already known by name somehow then?

Also, "arrows from the sky" is definitely meaning the mouse cursor we use as GeckoYamori already mentioned #Tongue

Yes they are. Take a look at the rules.ini of TS and you will find the word is used as the name of Banshee Fighter [SCRIN], which is based on technology acquired from the UFO, and the UFO itself has Name=Scrin Ship. IIRC In a GDI mission you can see this name yourself if you put the mouse cursor on it. WW do give out the name of these aliens.
