The Shrike is an improvised warplane that makes up the bulk of The Forgotten's meager airforce. Either converted crop dusters or partially restored COIN aircraft, it is obviously not expected to last long against CABAL and Scrin air power and defenses but the mere idea that The Forgotten were even able to maintain an airforce is surprising, especially for those who did not expect an aerial assault by them. Armed with four heavy machineguns and four rocket pods with ample supply of ammo for each, it can carry out extended sorties in order to harass enemy ground forces. The lack of firepower however prevents it from being a proper fighter plane since it is incapable of destroying tougher targets quickly. It is also unsuitable for air-to-air combat.
Notes:
-Both weapons share the same ammo pool, reloads quickly

Originally it carried an enormous ammo supply allowing it to fire off three salvos of two maverick missiles at vehicles and structures before firing off ten bursts of heavy machinegun fire OR fire thirteen bursts of heavy machinegun fire at infantry and aircraft. Now it only carries 8 points of ammo but it can freely switch between quad heavy machineguns and rocket pods depending on the target.
The quad heavy machineguns deal twice as much splash damage than before and is fired in a strafing manner where it will fire several bursts in a straight line just like the Warthog's gatling gun. This enables it to damage multiple infantry if you lineup it's angle of attack properly. The rocket pods on the other hand is quite straightforward, firing off a salvo of six rockets with each pass. These rockets deal little damage however.
This new setup makes the Shrike better at harassing enemy armor and mowing down groups of infantry since it's large ammo supply enables it to perform it's missions longer but not enough to quickly destroy targets. This does come at the cost of anti-air capability though...
Here's a pic of a Shrike launching a rocket salvo and two other Shrikes strafing some fleshy targets...:
