Even tho it does look somewhat interesting, I am dissapointed with these guys, any cnc mod feels more complex than 8BA, I was a fool to believe this was a WIP part of the main game...

Remind me War Craft 2 if only it have realistic or cartoon style instead of blocky style I might consider to pick this at day 1. and I still don't understand why this call 8 bits.

They need something memorable, distinguishable in the title, even if it's technically wrong.
And a cross-reference to 8-bit Armies, of course.
