Reminiscent of armored halftracks used in wars of old, the Mongoose is the closest thing the Scavengers have to a battle tank. Modified from a three-axle truck, it's halftrack chassis gives it a good balance between speed and durability, though it is still outclassed by heavier vehicles. Cheap to build in numbers, it's primarily effective against light vehicles but heavier vehicles can easily succumb to the 75mm shells if enough of them are being fired. It also doubles as a light transport, having space for a single passenger who replaces the default gun with an improvised mortar, increasing it's attack range and enabling it to fire over obstacles such as walls.
