I just lost a really difficult update I was about an hour in, not thinking memory would soar since I was just using pencil, no major operations...

Anyway if the leak is not a leak but rather bloating from the undo function, perhaps limit the undo levels to 20, that would at least keep a handle on things?

Try revision 525. It should be better in terms of memory leaks.
