This is interesting - never heard of the fact it was even planned for a console.

In fact, until I didn't see the Flame Tank on the tech demo video, I thought this ain't even a C&C game.

No, the compny cooperated with Westwood on a racing game. They're just using assets...it was the first milestone tech demo.
