Me and Bittah playing Reunification's Co-Op version.
The mission itself shares many similarities with the singleplayer version, so it'll feel familiar for players who have played the SP version. However, this Co-Op version is also different in many ways, meaning that it's still an unique mission.
You might want to slightly change the description of the latter mission, since it allows playing as Nod against Nod Just replace the word "Nod" with "The enemy" and it's already more universal. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
Yeah, but this way you can avoid the briefing from confusing players who choose Nod. Even though the enemy AI is using Nod equipment, it could be a splinter faction or something like that. Hence I intentionally left the identity of the enemy ambiguous. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
In that case "Nod has" could be changed to "Nod forces have". I personally think it's better if the identity of the enemy is mentioned in the briefing (that way you get an idea of what you're up against, without having to try the mission first). _________________ QUICK_EDIT

DTA could use a complete new alpha lightpost. Those TS ones don't really fit.
The question is, how would such a lightpost look to fit into the TD style?
If this is done, a new smoother alphaimage could be done as well. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
Regular street lamps would be barely visible in DTA's scale, so it should be something like a floodlight tower or a searchlight. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
Nice dense forest.
Sounds like an interesting mission.
Though i would have preferred them to start on different locations, with maybe a river of cliff separating the players. Thus one on one side has to kill a powerplant to open the way for the other player on the other side. Like one can't progress without the other.
Usually when players start next to each other, it turns out into a "who can kill more" battle.
Do all players (allies and soviets too) get a commando? Could be nice to see a tanya+commando team, though volkov+cyborg could be massive OP. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
It's a GDI mission. At least on Hard mode this mission is difficult enough that you are forced to do teamwork, otherwise you're dead. In other words, if it turns into a "who can kill more" battle, you'll likely both get overwhelmed by enemy forces and die.
That BOU_BRYGG_TSO player hosted this game already Friday (a day before you took the screenshot) and I think it is still hosted.
I wonder how someone can forget (s)he is hosting a game for several days, and also keep the PC running for several days, without reboot or shutdown. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
Some romantic city scenery, showcasing the new pavement and paved road assets that allow mappers to create bigger and much more convincing cities. You might also be able to spot a large-ish crater, made by Nooze, and some high-quality new trains, made by Lin Kuei Ominae.
just noticed: why are there Allies using GDI tech or GDI having Allies buildings?
Is this strange tech mix explained in the briefing?
The flame thrower infantry, being neither GDI nor Allies tech, is strange too.
There is no mention of this in the original briefings and while the original missions obviously didn't have GDI defenses, they did give the player access to only GDI-like units (there you have access to units like the Grenadier and Mammoth Tank for example, while the Light Tank is unbuildable). Additionally the player's faction color is Gold rather than blue in that mission, which further indicates that your faction is meant to represent GDI (or a transition from Allies to GDI) rather than the original Allied faction.
So for DTA I decided to take it one step further and give the player access to GDI defenses instead of Allied ones and also replaced the Ranger and the V2 with their GDI equivalents (the Humm-vee and the Rocket Launcher).
Only the flamethrower infantry is an anomaly, but I guess you could say that while GDI has the tech, they just like the US army stopped using it because of ethics and lack of effectiveness in most average combat scenarios. Since ants clearly aren't close to anything you'd call "average" and since there's also no ethics issue when it comes to killing ants with fire, they had a good excuse to bring back the flamethrowers just for this special occasion. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
