Originally a small division of elite snipers within the SAS, the Jäger Combat Recon has grown to become a standardized division of commandos who specialize in covert operations. They're some of the best snipers in the world, capable of silently eliminating targets from long range. Some of the more experienced Jägers can even kill multiple foes with a single well placed shot at a precise angle. Being trained in amphibious assaults also enable them to strike from the seas. If that wasn't enough, they have the authority to call in airstrikes by painting structures with their scope-mounted laser designator. A single Lightning II fighter bomber will proceed to bombard the painted structure with a powerful Bunker Buster bomb, mainly effective against defences and naturally garrisoned structures, paving the way for other attack forces. Being highly specialised long-ranged combatants, they're most vulnerable in close quarters and have no way to fight tanks other than utilizing anti-material rifles mounted on Pitbull IFVs.
