The Mirage Holofield is a unique take on classic camouflage tactics. Developed by Allied and Imperial scientists, the technology works by bending light around an object, rendering it invisible. Using a hologram, it then projects an image of an environmental item in it's place, usually a tree or bush. This allows the user to better blend in with the environment accordingly. The technology is currently used with the AMX-308, a tank destroyer armed with a Heatwave Projector, a weapon capable of burning through armour instantly. After Japan broke it's alliance with the Allies, the Imperial scientists went on to improve on the technology, calling it the Tsukumogami System.
