While most of the Allied military used well-armoured 6x6 Fox IFVs, the Australian Army went for a more rugged approach: the Pitbull. At first glance, it looks like a stylish up-armoured SUV. In fact, it is a stylish up-armoured SUV. This is a militarised version of the Pitbull Outback, the most desirable SUV here in the Land Down Under. Compared to the other IFVs used by everyone else, the Pitbull is clearly less armoured but is undeniably much more agile. Its also surprisingly sturdy enough to hold the transformer turret on it's back. All this for just a fraction of the Fox IFV. Its faster, cheaper to produce, and still benefits from the transformer turret, which comes with the Lance Missile System by default and changes into other variants depending on the infantry that resides in it. This led to other Allied countries phasing out the old Fox and adopting the Pitbull. The Fox is still in use in some countries and most of them are being used for security purposes instead.
