Good news & bad news

I'll throw it all up right quick.

Good news: I'm still working on Echilon. It's actually proving really fun to work with. Smile

The backstory is down solid, and all 3 factions have a solid aesthetic base to work with, so modeling out this stuff shouldn't be difficult at all. Echilon trudges forward into 2013!

Bad news: I'm in this alone. I'd love to have a little help with this. I mainly need someone who can is good with Terrain and ini work (YR:ARES). I have en EXCELLENT start with the old Evolution terrain set, but there's much more to be done. Once that's done, mapping can begin. I also need someone who can code the shit out of YR: Ares. Smile

Most of the hard graphics work I can do myself, but it's always good to have a team backing me up and helping out when they have spare time. Smile

i wish i could help, you got really good with the time considering i knew how you started out with your 3D stuff here once, i'd really love to see a few screens in the future and look forward to the mod, unfortunately i'm not really helpful in RA2's engine modding wise as i'm not familiar enough with it, but i happily browse through your updates. if you need anything in particular in terms of 2D art hit me up, thats the only thing i can offer so far Smile

maybe, probably, i have no YR/RA installed so i need templates to work with, but other than that, it shouldn't be a problem Smile

I've studied a few of the INI Files in my spare time, and I've had a bit of experience with Ares 2.0. I've got some disks I have my eyes on (just waiting for the bidding to end) so there's going to be a delay, but if nobody minds I can try and help in whatever capacity I can.

...Though the small print is, I never learned how to code the AI.
