Originally scheduled for retirement, the Griffon was modernized and used by the JAAT as a fighter bomber when Eurofighter's next-gen bomber program was cancelled. Despite it's age, the countless upgrades it has received makes it highly comparable to modern fightercraft. It's most notable upgrade is the Munitions Pod beneath it. This large orange structure is used to carry and release either free-fall bombs for destroying structures or hundreds of cluster bomblets to bombard enemy battalions with. The free-fall bombs can be equipped with JDAMs, turning them into highly accurate smart bombs which can destroy even the toughest structures in one bombing run. Being a dedicated bomber, it lacks any defences against other aircrafts, making it vulnerable to interceptors in addition to anti-air emplacements.
