Originally a domestic modification to the famed F/A-18 Hornet multirole fighter, the Black Eagle is the result of a joint venture between McDonnell Douglas and Korea Aerospace Industries. While it was still based on the Hornet, it was completely redesigned as a heavy ground attacker. It has a much more rigid structure and swept back wings, increasing it's armour while making it much more maneuverable at the cost of reduced speed. It's main armaments are Maverick 2 missiles. These are vastly improved Mavericks with greater armour piercing ability, making them deadly anti-tank weapons. If soft targets are needed to be destroyed, it's 20mm cannons gets the job done efficiently. While its nearly as indestructible as the fearsome A-10 Thunderbolt II while still being a lot faster, it can't soak up as much damage from anti-air fire and is unsuitable for aerial engagements with other fighters.
