There have been reports of sightings of mysterious gigantic shadows in the seas around the world. At first, no one thought much about it, but it soon became a concern as more sightings were reported. They have been described as something that looked like Manta Rays, but bigger. These elusive entities finally revealed themselves during the Chimera's surprise attack on Japan. They have been identified as the Leviathan-class missile submarine. True to it's namesake, the Leviathan is huge. Thanks to it's low profile and an unusual form of propulsion, it is still difficult to track down. Once it arises, death is sure to be certain as it unleashes a pair of cruise missiles at it's target, obliterating a sizable area with the ensuing pyrokinetic waves released from the missiles' destruction. These weapons also outrange nearly any known capital ship-capable artillery pieces but has been known to be relatively weaker than the SM-89 "Cyclone" SRBMs launched from Soviet Dreadnoughts. Fortunately, it has been discovered that stealth is it's only form of defense and once discovered, the Leviathan is a sitting duck.
