AlternateTheaterArt is an Ares tag, so it works. The old vanilla tag is AlternateArticArt, which only works on snow maps.
@Noodles: AlternateTheaterArt could also change the cameos? Didn't know that. But why do you need the dummies anyway? They should work already right? _________________

interesting seeing your voxel work. They're still better than Aro's!
Well I needed to give it a dummy entry in Artmd so I could give it a unique cameo as well. And I just do it as a precautionary Thing... _________________ ~ Excelsior ~ QUICK_EDIT
Your solution is somewhat exactly just the same as using Prerequisite.RequiredTheaters honestly.
Not really. AlternateTheaterArt and even RA2 AlternateArcticArt load different art entry for the unit based on the map theatre. In case of AlternateArcticArt, it only applies to arctic maps where it loads art entry with the usual ID + suffix A (i.e SEALA for an example - WW had art(md).ini entry for it but it's identical to SEAL). I presume with extended Ares logic it works for all six theatres, meaning the suffices A,D,L,N,T,U are usable. Not exactly sure on specifics considering documentation only gives example for arctic & desert.
So yeah I wouldn't call it 'exactly just the same', especially when you avoid creating duplicate rules entries which you would have to do when using Prerequisite.RequiredTheaters. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
No I checked my Ini's again... I only have Dummy Art Entries for the Image=XXX, Aside from that the only thing I changed on RuleMD for this to work is...
Image=SEAL
AlternateTheaterArt=yes
Prerequisuite.RequiredTheaters could also fulfill the same effect though and could be needed if you want the Unit in question to have a different name (Grizzly Bear,Polar Bear,Black Bear,etc),Weapon(LunarM60,M60),etc for each Theater. But if your aim is only a unique Cameo/SHP then AlternateTheaterArt would suffice. _________________ ~ Excelsior ~ QUICK_EDIT
