Hello Twisted Insurrection players.

For those of you whom may be interested, I am releasing the GloboTech Arena template so you can create your own GloboTech Arena maps. If you create one that doesn't already clash with one of our current arena maps and is smiled upon by myself and the staff, it will be added to Twisted Insurrection's next Pulic Beta along with all the other Arena maps. Feel free to upload your Arena maps into the Your Maps forum.

May I ask what Arena is? I assume small maps Same size 4 players as I can see but some form of speed increase? limited units?

Download the template and look for yourself. They have a basic size and shape like that of an arena. Anything else is up to the mapper. If you want, you can change the player amount to 2 or 6 or whatever.

I was curious if it would be possible to make a map where all the players only have old units from Tiberian Dawn? Just call it "Globotech Tiberian Dawn Arena" or something, and make it look like it tries to replicate a typical Tiberian Dawn map.

It's possible and it's an interesting idea, but Twisted Dawn will most likely be an optional choice on the TI game menu or a separate release at some point. Smile

Even better then! Making arena map using old units could be a preview of the Twisted Dawn mode that will be made in the future.  Very Happy
