the 3Dizing features of VXLSE3 are pretty awesome for making voxels deploy well into SHPs. Or would be, if I could only export the texture as well.

Blender, Wings3D, and 3ds Max 9 all import the model successfully, but I do not understand how to generate, export, or apply the voxel's texture to the newly created 3D model.

Is this because such functionality is not currently within the scope of VXLSE3, is this an issue with Blender, Wings, and Max, or am I doing it wrong?

VXLSE III is able to export textures. Did you generate them or you don't know how to do it (click the button near the rotations -> Texture Effects -> Generate Diffuse Texture...)?

Having generated a diffuse texture, what should this change?
There's no detectable difference in the model.

Yea, but now it has a texture. Once you export the model, it will include the texture.

Ah, thank you, now I understand.
I guess that documentation would help, as I didn't realise the texture then had to be separately exported.

Well, that solves this one.

The modelizer is a beta tool. Perhaps the final version of VXLSE III might not have it... or it will be totally revamped with a proper interface and documentation.
