At the current version, if you are viewing the normal spectrum, and try to use the Flood Fill tool, it will fill areas according to the colour spectrum, not the normals. This is rather stupid, so if it's possible, please make the tool to adjust according to which spectrum the user is viewing.

Hah I just found that flood-fill in colour mode doesn't seem to respect it's boundaries either...

I was filling a box and it kept bleeding out into other areas, I'm guessing it's looking at other layers to decide the boundary, or looking at the normals values.

I haven't tried different things to be more specific, but there is a problem.

I know that if you cut out a layer then fill will still try to use the colours that were there.  It can be a little irritating to come up against these ghostly pixels.
