GDI Structure Pack [3ds Max 2011 & 2010]
Formerly the GDI structures for Twisted Insurrection, I've decided to release these and remake (to more easily animated) GDI structures for TI.
These are for 3DS MAX 2011 and 3DS MAX 2010, and cannot be opened by previous versions. I might release a .3ds version later, but i'm not sure how well the textures will be retained.
These are free to use for pretty much anything. Credits would be appreciated.
Speaking of, here are some credits:
Gangster - industrial tank models
LKO - brown texture base
Robopope - two minor detail textures
//Edit: I have included a 2010 Version as well. .3ds format does not retain texture mapping coordinates, therefore rendering them useless.

Not too shabby ace. Those pipes, the pipes! So fat, but good none the less. _________________ You come for the modding but you stay for the Crap Forum. QUICK_EDIT
Very very nice, buildings all fit the same style exactly, not to mention they look like something you should be getting paid to do . Now I just wish I had 11. If textures aren't retained well in the .3ds, you could always attach them with it and make people UVW map it on _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." just took a look at these pieces, only 2010 opened for me, but wow, nice work to the guys who created all that. Might help give some ideas on the level of detail for future works of mine. _________________ I am authorized to send out the TMP Studio, PM ME IF YOU WANT IT And check this out, these were sent to me for help with terrain and zdata help along with TMP Studio/Builder

Well, with over 400 downloads, I'd hope I did something right _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT
Can you release this file as .3ds or .blend for Blender? And as 4StarGeneral says, textures can come separately anyway, it's easier to learn UV mapping than modelling. (As long as you have textures done, naturally.) _________________ QUICK_EDIT

Yeah, if I can find the file the original file, I'll convert it. If anyone else already has it, they're welcome to do so for me. _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT

The models were not style the team was going for. _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT
noticed comment on the texture. if you attach everything to make as one retaining the uv mapping you can copy the texture from the building as a single texture and only need to place one texture in the DL _________________ I am authorized to send out the TMP Studio, PM ME IF YOU WANT IT And check this out, these were sent to me for help with terrain and zdata help along with TMP Studio/Builder
A) Textures aren't included, so you'd have to make those yourself.
B) You would have to make (preferably nice looking) damaged frames and animations for each.
C) I don't think there's even 1 person with skill in 3DS Max that isn't busy on a mod team, feel free to prove me wrong though.
That's why no one's released them. _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." QUICK_EDIT

I'm attempting to hunt down these textures. I have plenty of skill in Blender, and I have already converted them over for use in it. I plan to make build-up and damage animations. If I can't get the textures, I'll try asking the Reborn crew if I could use some of their textures... I'll try to edit them to look like the ones used in the screenshots, but I make no promises if I have to resort to that. QUICK_EDIT
Outgoing from the bigger preview, I think I found one of them.
But it seems DaTS also did some changes to them, like different color.
Attached are a few textures which i used long time ago, before i started using combined inbuild 3ds max maps only (like Noise map, Splat map, Tiles map, Gradient map etc)
btw, i got this metal texture from the game X2 the Threat. Not sure if there is a copyright on it, but they officially support modding, so it could be ok.

I do intend to animate these models, but right now I'm very busy. These will not be forgotten, though. They'll stay on my list of things to do. I've almost got them ready for me to animate. I just need to figure out how to do the lighting properly in Blender. Once I get that, I'll start animating and convert them to proper SHPs. I might take a month or so though, as I said I'm pretty busy right now. In the mean time, here's the textures Gangster sent me.
