Do you wanna promote an important event or feature of a game modding site? Or do you want to promote content created by a mod team? Or even if your motivation is to start a news posting careeer, use this forum.

Posts posted here may be transferred to the Site News, as long as they are considered good and they follow the rules below:

1) Good english is important. You don't need to be a native english speaker, but you should at least try it. Pay attention to spelling and sentence construction. Do not abbreviate words or use 1337 writting.

2) Posts must be relevant to the site content. The focus of PPM is game modding, mostly with Command & Conquer games, although we may eventually expand into other games.

3) Be morally correct by not insulting members in the news and following the guidelines of our forums (which means no promotion to warez or anything that is illegal in the United States of America, where this site is hosted).

4) Do not use pictures wider than 600 pixels. PPM does not handle it well in machines that uses a lower resolution than 1024x768.

If your news post fails hard in one of these guidelines, it will be deleted with no warning whatsoever. If it is good enough, we'll promote it to the Site News, even if editions (without warning) have to be done.

PPM receives a lot of visitors daily and this place might be a good opportunity to promote sites or interesting projects. Enjoy it!

The number of people using a resolution lower then 1024x768 and visiting PPM is negligible.

At this moment, the number is really low (1.14%). Most people are either using 1280x1024 or 1024x768. The problem is that pictures wider than 600 pixels breaks the site in 1024x768, which is still used by 20%+ of the users.
