Technicals are built up from ordinary quad trucks. In their default mobile form they are armed with a machinegun turret that is effective against infantry. They also have a completely different secondary role. When technicals are ordered to deploy, they switch the turret at the back to a long range anti-air flak cannon. The flak cannon can only be used against air targets, and the technical cannot be moved while in anti-air mode. As a small bonus, while the technical is deployed the driver is able to perform basic repairs to the vehicle, allowing it to heal up to half strength. Being based on a civilian vehicle, the technicals have very poor armor. However their fast speed can make up for this shortcoming.
