TC Hawx Mods
Subject description: Now With Flyable Planes
Well with other game moding, I hope you dont mind if I put some of my Hawx skin here. I have a few on the way, when I pick up the full game.
Here's my first-

Well people have added there own Fighters, yet I dont know how.

I don't like them TBH, in making the camo you have removed all the panel lines, shading & small details, leaving them looking a bit bland :/ _________________

you should probably just start with taking the base texture of the jet, then adding whatever texture you want on top of it using layer options in PS, your skins will wind up looking a bit more professional. using the black and white options for the main skin would be great as well, you could put it in multiply mode over the texture you create, with a bit of tweaking you could really make it come alive.

Speaking of Aircraft Skinning, This is where I learned it all from a few months back then, from textures to vectors. Also your skin could use a little more weathering to give it sheet metal look and some Normal Mapping for rivets and panels (if the game supports it)
I felt that there was something missing, as mig said, the panel lines and details are gone :S

You didn't actually read the text there though did you? It specifically mentioned digital camouflage "utilizing small micropatterns", and thus NOT having big areas of the same colour. On a plane that size, micropatterns would be indiscernable as texture. Also, being micropatterns, they have a WAY higher resolution than what you're throwing on that plane there. The 'pixels' in the pattern are barely half a centimeter wide and high. See this pic.

I made a digital camouflage pattern in photoshop for you. This way, it doesn't look like it's cloth. you can apply panel overlays, and using some effects, make the pattern look great with panels and such.
