Triscene has two PWT Cannons attached and its metallic teeth are very deadly melee against X-Com units. Note: I know it looks silly while standing like that. It's like it's about to fall because there's too much weight front of its body. Will be fixed while animating in the future...

I always expected it to be closer to the ground due to weight of weapons. The weapons were connected and enclosed the creature, as if it wore a jacket (or hm... a bikini Laughing ).

The tail is actually pretty short and is only used to balance the thing. And legs seem more grabby.

Though, I don't think that we follow the USOpedias look 100%. Slight deviations won't kill anyone, at least as of yet.
