Operation "Southern Shield"

Every year the Allied air forces hold a co-operative air force demonstration to showcase their newest aircraft and practise defensive tactics for their southern flank along the GMS (Greece-Malta-Suez) line. Naturally with the majority of the soviet fleet focused in the north sea and the far east (Barents sea and Vladivostock, and a probable plan to reclaim port arthur after the sino-russian war). This leaves REDFLEET with small numbers of submarines and fast attack craft to launch their offensive in this area as well as any amphibious units. The allied air forces are theirfore the primary guardians of the suez lifeline to the middle and far east.

These exercises are permitted to be photographed unless specified; therefore each exercise brings a wealth of amauter photographic material. Day one brings us several excellent pictures of the Privateer Interceptor aircraft.

Who knows what units will be on exercise tomorrow? Or it could be classified and our amatuer photographers will have to stay at the hotel and watch TV... Lazy sods #Tongue

The yellow in the jet turbine looks a little bright.

But hmmm, you know how damaged units give off a little bit of smoke? You think ou could make it so that smoke comes out of the afterburners?

Excellent Voxel Albrecht, it's of the same high quality of the aircraft Roaches used to make. It's great to see updates from this mod.
Also, DaFool's idea is cool, though I know from experience how annoying it is to get the damage smoke spawning from where you want it to... but don't let whatever Aro says put you off.
