Tutorial: Hosting games on BNet with ICS.
If you have Internet Conection Sharing and try to create a game, you probably get frustated that no one joins it. Maybe, there are even some attempts to join your game, but Battle.Net links them to your internal IP and they never find you. So bypass this situation, follow the guide below:
(Note: haha, now I can host games, Tapek )
1. Open your Registry Editor (start menu -> run -> type "regedit" without the " ".
2. Go to HKey_Local_Machine -> System -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> ICSharing -> Mappings -> Installed.
3. Create a new key called BLIZZARD.
4. In this key, you create the following stuff.
a) Sequence value called Name with the value set to Battle.Net
b) Binary value called Options with the value set to 00 00 00 00
5. Then, in the BLIZZARD key, create a new key called 0000 and create the following stuff for it:
a) Sequence value called Port with the value set to 6112
b) Sequence value called Translation with the value set to NORMAL
c) Sequence value called Type with the value set to TCP
6. Then, also in the BLIZZARD key, create a new key called 0001 and create the following stuff for it:
a) Sequence value called Port with the value set to 6112
b) Sequence value called Translation with the value set to NORMAL
c) Sequence value called Type with the value set to UDP
7. Now go to HKey_Local_Machine -> System -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> ICSharing -> Mappings -> Active
8. Create a sequence value called BLIZZARD with the value set to 0.0.0.0
9. Restart your computer.
10. Open warcraft 3, get into Battle.net and create a new game! Have fun!.
