When I'm doing shading on voxels and stuff, I pictured a tool that would be totally helpful for me.
It would act like the pencil, and every pixel it goes over gets 1 shade darker per click.

this would save the hassle of eye dropping each color and selecting the next shade darker per color.
Perhaps even further, a paint bucket version that will make all connected pixels of the same color into 1 shade darker.

Something like this would make it a lot easier to draw shading and texture on our voxels, as I personally dislike importing bmps/pngs

Hmm... importing the darker/lighter tool from OS SHP Builder shouldn't be a hard deal, although I'd need to adapt it to disappear when the user switches to the normals mode. (darker and lighter for normals makes no sense)

Im not sure how to explain this, but also if the user selected a bigger brush size, he should also see an "overlay" of the what the pixels look like when they are dark, before the darkening action is actually made.

Hope I made this clear! Wink
