Problems with creating a new building
Subject description: When I open my TS shp it shows as Ra2 Shp???
Getting started to create buildings with shp biulder, and so i started clicking on File>New, than i chose TS building and Ok... as usual.
What i can't understand is that my newlly made structure don't apeear in-game (and yes i've coded correctly the art.ini and rules.ini fields, i can tell it with 100% sure because i've already add more than 50 voxels and 20 shps to my mod correctly, but i hadn't experienced trying to make a custon shp yet). So, i'm uploading the images so it can be more apropriate.
Well the PROBLEM IS: I created and saved my custon shp as a tiberian sun shp, with unitem.pal, and everything correct (at least that is what i think). when i go to test it in-game i doesn't appear. it's like invisible, transparent, or so. trying to figure out what is the problem i've noticed that when I load my custon shp building in os shp builder it apear like a Ra2 building and not like a TS building. i've changed the shp type in opitions and saved again, loaded and the problem persists. what the f.. is wrong with it????????

here it is after saving it, detect the problem and realized that it doesn't appear in-game, and opened it again. It had come to this: an Ra2 shp type biulding

Surprisingly, this is not a problem of the program.
The SHP (TS) file doesn't store its game and type. The program has to guess it everytime it loads it.
The problem is that it is impossible for it to distinguish between a TS and RA2 building, unless it reads your mind.
For the program itself, it shouldn't be a problem, except that it chooses the RA2 unittem.pal instead of TS. All you need to do, if it miss the game, is to tell it the correct game (and type) at the Options menu.
Regarding it not being displayed in game, make sure your code is correct (even if you currently think it is), also make sure it is located in a ecacheXX.mix. SHP files saved on TS directory won't show up in game. QUICK_EDIT
You need to put it in "ecacheXX" mix and give that ecache mix highest number
of all other "ecache" mixes already in the game directory.
Also, as said, check the code for it, in BOTH:
-Rules.ini file and
-Art.ini file
AND, make shure that (if there is any) all it's additional animation .shp's names
are entered into Rules.ini file, under the "animations" header.
This may be the reasoss to not appear, as well...
