Mecha Bee voxel

ok, i didn't make the 3dmax model, i downloaded it from here: http://www.3dkingdom.org

now, i converted it to voxel and colored it, but when i try to use it in ra2 for a screeny the game crashes... anyone know why?

i've attched the voxel for someone to see if they can get a good screenshot... tho i haven't asked for permission to use it so don't use it yet Wink

nagh, the legs don't move since it's a aircraft, so voxel is right.. just friggin crashes :'(

Replace the white with red i think. So Ingame it would be black and whatever coloure u pick.

You mean replace the YELLOW with REMAPABLE colour, Terror? yes i agree that would look good. And about the crash: don't forget the .hva file.... (open the vxl in the hva editor's "new hva wizard")

Well you do have the voxel right? Remapable colours show up in your pallette as shades of Red. So dark-remap shows up as dark-blue in the game, if you chose blue as your colour.

oh good gracious... that's what it turned out to be.. the model is nice but why is the voxel that way?? Confused

ok, remapping all fixed.. this is what it looks like now, purple team.. not a true unit since i juist swppaed the harriers voxel!

Looks good, but if you really wanted to make it cool, make the wings seperate and give tham a HVA animation so they move up and down when its in flight. You could make an RA2 version of the RA1 ants missions, that would be good.

I actually think that would look better in TS, its got that dark and brooding fell to it.

TS and Ra2 are completely different games! Sure they're both RTS's but Ra2 is basically world war 3 and TS is the war for survival after all other wars. In TS the world is dead, Tiberium has sucked just about all life from the earth, and to make matters worse GDI and NOD are just killing each other and all those that support there "enemy". Where as RA2 is a fight for liberty (allies) and a fight for umm pleasure [and will to take over the world] (soviet powers). as you can see just by looking at the cd cases, compare them. look at the sky in the backround. look at the pride in the conscript and compare it to the doomed life of the soldier in TS. The games are much different and I believe that unless you want to liven up that umm bee It belongs in Ts, but hell WTF do I know. Do whatever you want, I never typed this. This is just your imagination at work.
