Good news for people who hate good news.
Okay, so, a few days ago my videocard stopped functioning properly. By this, I mean when I have the sheer gaud to actually want it to display something it stops working completely.
This, in turn, has lead to some nasty side effects like, say, me not being able to work on the mod at all. I DO have my old laptop set up now but it runs Windows 2000 and has the graphical processing power of a cardboard brick. SO! I do have all the mod files thanks to an external drive enclosure. The question here is, would you like the latest internal release of Red Europe? The allies are about 85% complete and just missing the Artillery, MGG and Radar Jammer. And medic, but that would have come much later when I actually got an animator. There are a few strange bugs, all animation related (The buildings aren't properly separated to they explode into a massive pile of chunks when blown up), but eh. It's playable and rather fun in my own opinion.
I know this is taking gleeful liberties the idea of "Release soon, release release often" but I feel this is better than letting the mod rot on an external hard drive for all eternity. _________________ Red Alert mod for C&C3. QUICK_EDIT
