Break-down of a face-palm:
1)Grimace or have a sad, sad expression of failure.
2)Make sure your hand isn't tense.
3)Apply hand directly to face; best done covering one side of face and part of accompanying section of forehead.
4)Make sure the one who invoked said face-palm is aware of your action.
