Want to make a menu like the one above? Then read ahead fellow soldiers and marksmen!

1. Create a new image with 200x20px in size

2. Use the fill tool and fill with #303030

3. Create a new layer and name it Gradient then select half of the image and use the gradient tool with #5e5e5e as forground and #474746 as background and draw from the bottom of the selection and up. It should now look like this:


4. Add some text. I used Arial, Normal, 12 pt, Sharp


5. Create a new layer and name it Lines. Now draw one white line and one black line to the left of the text with 2px distance from it and then change the opacity of the layer to 35%


6. Crop it but keep 2px free space on the right edge.


Voila! Done!
