IS 2 & SU 100
these are the oldes of my work. oldest because they are models from old tanks
, well back to the info.
The Iosif Stalin tank series where designed as a kind of military presence of the chief of state(Stalin) in the war, also as an honor. It was like Stalin was in the war there next to you. Before these tanks the KV series where the top tanks used in WW2. They were named KV because of Kirov (im not sure i just frogot) Voroshilov (this one is right)
There were 2 KV KV-1 and KV-2. Voroshilov was the minister of defense of the soviet union. Then Stalin wanted more and more things that has his name or something of him. So the IS series production begin, there was no IS 1 used in battle just designed but never built because the T34 showed it was so good that they wanted to make the medium tank a heavy one, so new havy tanks were used. The IS2 had 122mm gun AP and HE & some machine guns.
The SU 100 was the modern SU 85, the last one, was the anti tank versionm of the T34. The SU 100 had a 100mm gun and a new comander place inside the tank and some amour planting too.
