T-54 Main Battle Tank

Historical Background: The T-54 came into Soviet service in the year 1947, and came into mass production, and when production finally finished, over 60000 T54/55 tanks were produced, making it the most mass produced tank ever. It posed a great threat to all UN/NATO/US tanks of the 1950s with its 100mm cannon. Its chassis and turret design are a step above all previous designs in terms of the sloping of the armor. It can be said the T-54s turret is near hemispherical. It was superceded by the improved T-55, which came into service by 1960.

Recon has yet to obtain pictures of this unit alone, in formation.

By swarming I mean that 4 or 5 Medium Tanks like M4s can come up to, and start bashing at it, doing 1/10, 1/11 of its health in each shot, as the T-54 tries to destroy each tank. Fire and manuever could prove disastrous for stationary T-54s.

jejee poor production since t55 came and went with not much to improve just the idea of a bigger internal fuel tank and some things of the fire and gas suppresor. for t62 things came nice for a new turret and hull design for a future nuclear war
