Ive been away for a while, and now im back w/ news. First, ive totally gone ot town on the story, mainly just making it more presentable and reader friendly, and ive switched the Mod platform to YR. Ive been working on coding and such, im working on some voxels and i have new concept art waiting to be shown. Ive also been doin some work w/ SHP's and gathering up some Sounds/Music as well as new Interface. Why did i make the switch? well, more possibilities. Things that i have planned and currently in development stages are listed HERE. Screenies will be up within the next few hours.......


SPECTRUM ONE


In the beginning, the Humans, the Meklar, and the Shizmaa were all united as one. This trinity or collective of races were at peace for thousands of years. The Humans served as the scientific backbone, developing new medicines, weapons systems, new ways of travel, and things that made life easier and better. The Meklar were mainly used as government and political figures. The Meklar are loyal & true, so it was allowed that their elite guards to be of their own race. The Shizmaa were the grand military force of the galaxy, recently having conquered the parasite race that was infesting the outer rim of the galaxy, stood as proof as to how great their might was. Any rebellion was sure to be over soon if the Galactic Military got involved. For unknown reason, the Shizmaa slowly and secretly grew to hate the Humans. When the Shizmaa found out about the classified super weapons project that Human scientists called “Spectrum”, the Shizmaa used this against the Humans and to finally get their wish. To expel the Human race from existence.

Miraculously, the extermination passed in the senate. In the first day, millions of Humans were slaughtered in this galactic genocide. The Meklar denied the extermination order and left the republic and took an alliance with the Humans. The order was amended so that it would also affect the Meklar race.

Planet after planet and colony after colony were obliterated by the Shizmaa. Leaving the entire planets a vast wasteland full of battle damage, and left seemingly uninhabitable. The humans knew that sooner or later the Shizmaa would find “Spectrum” and use it. With all but 2 human colonies destroyed, it was decided that the “Spectrum” was to be hid on the primitive colony known as Earth. On earth was a secret base so secret, even the inhabitants of the colony didn’t know it was there. The Meklar still had a reasonably sized military left to fight the Shizmaa for quite some time. Eventually the Human colony of Caprica was found and destroyed, leaving little if no hope for the human race on Earth.

After thousands of years of fighting, all that was left of the Meklar was their only remaining Armada of FTL Dreadnaughts and Civilian Carriers. The Meklar were out to find earth, hoping to find a reasonable force to help fight the Shizmaa. The Humans & the Meklar had lost contact with each other, but the Meklar knew that earth was the last place to look. After nine months of searching, Earth was finally found and an alliance was quickly formed between the Meklar and the Humans. The dry lake bed known as area 51 was an ancient landing zone for the humans but had long since been abandoned and reclaimed by the American military. This region became the “Safe Zone” or the main center of military command and civilian life as preparation for the Shizmaa invasion of Earth. Now it’s just a matter of time until the Meklar and the Humans find the ancient military base/ civilian zone that the Meklar call “Atlantis”. If the Shizmaa find the “Spectrum” first, the extinction of Mankind and the Meklar will become gravely imminent.
