Morpher has recently found out the problematic sound files that causes the issues with the sounds. Both deadman3 and 6 (inside ecache02.mix) are corrupted for some reason. So, he managed to sort them and uploaded a fixed ecache02.mix.

J4m3sb0nd, do you want this file? If you have any interest on this issue, reply here or talk to me on MSN. The mod (without sound issues) is really cool. It runs perfectly in my windows xp. My windows 98 still has sound problems, but I think it's my sound card (win 98 was recently reinstalled here, so it's probably using an old driver).

It sounds too good to be true, but if it truly does work, it may just inspire me to work on the mod once more. Wink

It works fine with me, and banshee says it works fine, its up to you for the final judgement, I hope it can help you as its a really cool mod to play ( especially with working sound Smile ).

It worked fine on windows 98 once I fixed that sound card there, before my power supply screws up. Do you want it to be published and officiallized, J4m3s?

I've played the mod through with the fix, & i am delighted to say i didnt run into any sound issues, i think its safe to officialise & publish it now. Smile
