I've always hated this.

Having a nice city map and the AI then starts attacking neutral buildings and destroying them, barely leaving any for them and you to garrison.

Doesn't happen in any other RTS that I have ever played.
Well I sort of fixed this, bringing a little more realism to the game.

Since in reall life you cannot bring down a building withsmall arms, you need tanks to do this, so what I did was to change the armor of all the buildings tp CONCRETE.

Then the warheads of all the infantry weapons, I set it at first to do 10% damage which worked.

But since in my game, paradrops have dozens of infantry, after a while they manage to bring them down, I will be changing them to 5% or 2%.

This means that just like in real life, you need tanks to clear buildings.

The good thing is that only infantry have this bug of going after civilian buildings that are empty and not mobile ground, air or sea units Smile

Welcome to RA2 where "occupy building" is the same as "attack building" as far as the AI is concerned.

Until someone codes it different, that is what we have.
