Yeah, that pic is blown up a bit. But it uses a 2x2 foundation. It dosent consume the whole 2x2, but it's larger than a 1x1 if you know what I mean. _________________

Hm, well, I think that you could make it more interesting if the ore would dissolve through the last set of cylinders.
The gas furnaces - the double ones - are good. Yet why the gases come in the back of the furnace?
However, the middle furnace is a bit odd - the metal ring should not glow as well. The inner furnace should, and somehow glow as some sort of gradient, if you know what I mean (ie - the lower part, the more glow, the more upper part, less to no glow at all.). QUICK_EDIT

The lighting also just looks weird. Why is the left side darker and the bottom (the base) seem really bright compared to the top? Besides that I agree with Deformat, perhaps have some flame burst out from the top too. Maybe even open up the central bit to show more of the furnace like the Ore Purifier, ATM it doesn't feel like there's enough animation. QUICK_EDIT
I dont know why the lighting looks like that. It's the proper lighting. Must be the textures or something. and I didnt notice the bright base at the bottom till you just pointed it out. Will be fixed. Also I'll go in and spiffy up the anims too. Thanks guys. _________________

Refn is great. I like the fire idea, have not seen it before.
As for the missile silo, can you show it flipped?
