Veteran units in single player maps - [Solved]

How does one make a unit in a single player map be veteran ?

Using the option on the properties of the unit does not have any effect.

While that, the the official RA2 and YR single player there are promoted units present (like Apocs, Tanya, Boris) in various missions.

How is this done ?

Spawn the unit(s) with a trigger & use VeteranLevel= on the team type.

If the plan is to start map units with veterancy, you could use the map flag for that InitialVeteran=yes. If you spawn enemies or use the enemy base to produce them, it could be a simple solution.

@E1 Elite - exactly what I needed, thank you.

Now I remembered how it used to work (100/200 instead of 1/2).
