Making an airport is easy as cake, all you need is a bit of imagination and maybe the degrees the buildings need to be placed.
I always use 45°, -45°, 135° and -135° so the buildings are always in the same angle.
First you should make a runway. It's best you use the WashingtonRoadMarking road. You can use the GDI Conyard to make the lines right.
Start with making the outer line of the runway.
Second you should add the markings such as some numbers at the beginning of the runway.
Finally you can add some objects around it.
