What inspired it? looks kind of nightmare-before-Christmas-esque type of thing, did you get a lot of ideas from that?

well, the only thing that looks like its from Tim Burton is his terrain he had made a year ago. aside from that, his concepts dont really look like they are Burton-esque. i would love to know what inspired you to create this type of mod. its a very interesting universe your creating. i can see alot of features in here from pan's labyrinth that would fit in remarkably. but, back to the question. how and what inspired you to create this kind of universe?

-This the Original Mod announcement. It has changed much since then.

but I didnt feel satisfied. I wanted to make my own storyline. I tried pushing through other remakes. and while the interest was there. It didnt feel right, or just didnt have the resourced need to finish it and eventually fell through.

Thanks, although Tim Burton. isnt the only inspiration, while alot of people have complimented my work being based on NBX. I wasnt aiming for it. honest!

I started out to get a list of inspiration. I actually was mostly inspired by surreal pop art....my favorite in particular being Mark Ryden. and also Designer toys.
